If you are looking for a well made rugged HDMI cable, look no further, BUT in my case things did not work out. When buying this I was thinking the signal booster would be close to one end or the other because I was needing to pull it through a 1.5″ conduit and I would pull it through the conduit from the opposite end that the booster would be on. To my surprise the signal booster is placed @ the midway point and it is the size of a small hot dog. It fit fine in the conduit and even the inline signal booster fit as well. All was going well until the signal booster hit the 45 Degree bend in the underground conduit. The signal booster being rigid would not pass through the bend in the conduit. So if planning on pulling it through a conduit make sure it is straight all the way through or much bigger diameter conduit to allow it pass through conduit bends.

We ran it from a sound booth to stage to deliver video to an onstage monitor. Worked very well EXCEPT the connectors are cheaply made and fragile. On our first test out of the box, with the connector plugged into the source, the connector was bumped (really touched), it bent 90 degrees, then fell apart. On a tight deadline, I decided to take a chance and returned it for a replacement of the same product because of price point, and because I knew it worked if it would hold up. It survived the 2nd installation and worked well. Perhaps the first one I received had already been damaged in manufacturing or shipment and I hadn’t realized it. Regardless, the connectors ARE plastic. Be extra careful plugging it in. If this is going to be in a high traffic area, or plugged and unplugged often, you may want to look into something built with better quality connectors. IMPORTANT: as others point out, this cable delivers signal 1 way! You must plug the “source end” into the source (camera, computer, game system, etc) and the other end into the display (TV / monitor). If you do it backwards, it won’t work. Despite reading this warning several times, I still connected it backwards the first time. Short HDMI cables work either way, so it’s easy to forget. If you’re doing a complicated installation with a long cable run, make sure you test it first and get your source/display ends on the right side of the installation.

I returned one, thinking it was a fluke, but the second one was defective as well. Both cables flickered really bad, 1080p was mostly OK, but when I was running 4k 30fps from my PC to my TV in the living room it would black out, sometimes it was just once every minute, but had spurts where it was once every few seconds.I was really hoping this cable would work for my needs, but unfortunately, I need to keep looking. Or find another method to run video signals in my home.

I was concerned about long distance to the projector… This replace a VGA cable and the new cable gives a much better picture and has stopped a flickering we had..

Being a low cost item from amazon (you already know about those low cost low quality amazon deals) this cable is built like a high end cable, very thick and perfect for running thru my attic to pass signal into multiple rooms (surveillance camera monitors)

We got these for our church for a long run and they work great. Keep in mind that they are directional. We learned that the hard way. Break out the label maker see you know which end is which and you’ll be OK. We set up and teardown each week so I will report back on the long-term reliability of these under that use. But so far so good.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This HDMI to HDMI 2.1 cable is 6.6 feet long, sturdy and well made. It transmits data fast and is ultra high speed. The 2.1 enables higher resolutions and refresh rates compared to thr 2.0. It gets up to 48Gbps. This allows for video frames rates up to 10K and frame rates up to 120fps.Overall, this cable works well and is so efficient, definitelya great value!!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I recently bought a new TV for Christmas and I realize that I needed some higher quality HDMI cables to use for streaming. This cable is really great and definitely shows my screen in a higher resolution. I got my first 4K TV and the picture is so much nicer than I had before. The cable came very quickly and works flawlessly out of the bag.

Pros: This came exactly as described/depicted when ordering. Sturdy, works as intended. Remember, you’re unlikely to get full 4k and sound (HDMI 2.0) without upgrading your HDMI cables, and ensuring ALL of your devices are 4K capable. TV, receiver, soundbar, game console, AND these cords ALL must be 4k compatible in order for it all to work. Then, with these cables you won’t have the HDCP errors I had. These are rated to 8K, though I only needed HDMI 2.0 for 4K. It all works now and components talk to one another.Cons: None that come to mind.

Dont have pros. The cable doest work well. My mobile is Galaxy S7 The cable does not work. My samsung indicates that it has water. Tell me to check the door. ( it’s in Portuguese) Attached is the error. I also tried on an LG and it did not work in it.

I’ll be honest I bought this to OUTPUT to an HDMI meaning I wanted to use it to hook up my older laptop (that doesn’t have HDMI but does have a VGA output) and output the picture to a TV that uses HDMI – it doesn’t work for that. This would be useful for people that have a new laptop that outputs HDMI and you’re trying to hook up an older monitor that uses VGA. Description of the item was a little misleading, hopefully this review gives people some clarity.
