Got this for an iPhone XS. Seems to be a very solidly built charger. Nicely designed. Opens automatically when you move your phone to place in the cradle. You need to remove your phone before it powers off, as it will not open when there is no power to the unit. If not, you will need to pull it from the clamps.

Does not attach to the car securely, does not charge Note 9. This was a replacement for the first one which did not work.

Tested it last night after it was delivered in the afternoon. Before then i tested it in my office using a QC2.0 charger. The sensor worked, autoclamping, and fasf charging worked. Exciting! When I tested in my vehicle, the first issue I ran into was the clip doesnt work my vents. The clip slides off with a little movement or bump. My plastic vents are thin, so the clips rubber teeth aren’t gripping to much. Grabbed a microfiber and alcohol to clean my dash board where my magnet had been mounted. Installed the dash/windshield mount with better results. The mount itself stayed in place during my hour drive, but when i got home and went to take out the wireless charger (keep reading to see why I was taking it out) I noticed the clip had slightly slid down. There was a small gap between where the 2 pieces sit flush and were sitting flush before I started my drive. This thing may be too heavy when equipped with my s8+.My biggest issue with the wireless charger was the fast charging. I already own a dual port QC3.0/PD3.0 charger, so I used that one instead of the included charger. Why? Simply going off the port colors, the included charger looks to only have 1 QC port. My wife usually charges her phone, so having 2nd QC port is a must. Well quick charge was hit or miss for me. I tried reseating my phone, reseating the cable, different cables 30 times yesterday. I was only able to get fast wireless charging 3 or 4 times. My car charger hasnt had any problems. When i plug my phone or my wifes in directly I get fast charging immediately.I will test with the bundled charger, but not expecting different results. Sucks because i really like Xiaomi brand. I’ll probably be returning this.
