Why is everybody so obsessed with pop-it phone covers?

Something new comes into the market and everybody gets obsessed with it even if they don’t like it that much. Lately; I have been seeing every mobile phone with almost the same phone cover. Why is that so? Maybe I lack that aesthetic eye that others have as I fail to get it. I have to rush now as I need to be Paying Someone To Take Online Class on my behalf because I have somewhere important to go and I can’t afford to miss my class. I hope the people there won’t be having the same phone covers (lol).
